The Women's Caucus is committed to providing a forum for uninhibited discussion of emerging, often not considered, and/or important issues affecting the lives and health of women. The Women’s Caucus is based on examining women’s lives through the contextualized experiences of women, considering the intersection of cultural, social, political, economic, cultural, spiritual, sexual, gender-based, and environmental forces.
The educational and scientific endeavors of the Women's Caucus concerns the specialty of the lives and health of women.
We carry out our purpose by means of public discussion groups, forums, panels, lectures, publications, or other similar programs. The organization carries out this mission primarily through the Program at the Annual Meeting of the American Public Health Association and its listserv.
